I am working on a application which required to record some transaction alerts using a third party library. Now this third party library requires a license file which is to be loaded in the application when application is running.
I tried to add this license file on a folder on C drive and mentioned the path of the file in the application properties file. But I am getting below error.
Error creating configurationbuilder No license given - please make sure to statically set a valid license using the License.setLicense() method.
Following is the key in my app property file:
THIRD_PARTY_LIC_LEY=${C:\\THIRDPARTY\\license_thirdParty_v1.json}

I have gotten the following message from App Store Connect when trying to upload a new version...
Missing Purpose String in Info.plist File - Your app's code references one or more APIs that access sensitive user data. The app's Info.plist file should contain a NSBluetoothPeripheralUsageDescription key with a user-facing purpose string explaining clearly and completely why your app needs the data. Starting Spring 2019, all apps submitted to the App Store that access user data will be required to include a purpose string. If you're using external libraries or SDKs, they may reference APIs that require a purpose string. While your app might not use these APIs, a purpose string is still required. You can contact the developer of the library or SDK and request they release a version of their code that doesn't contain the APIs.
But I do not use bluetooth anywhere in the app (no bluetooth code).
Here are the frameworks I use:
CoreText, QuartzCore, CoreLocation, CoreGraphics, Foundation, UIKit, StoreKit, CoreData, MapKit
Any advice?
Open Info Plist file and press on + sign add new key in info.plist of your project and add this NSBluetoothPeripheralUsageDescription and write value "Explain the reasons for Bluetooth".
FacebookSDK is scanning Bluetooth since v 4.33. This is the description I have picked.
Facebook-SDK v4.34 contains Places Kit which contains Bluetooth scanning. This app isn't scanning/using Bluetooth at all.
I have created an ASP.NET Core MVC Web application with Individual User Account authentication (Identity).
The template has created one Web project, with a whole bunch of folders, including a "Data" folder which has the migrations for the Identity schema, and ApplicationDbContext.
Now, I have some other projects alongside the web app which will need to consume the data. I don't want them to reference the web project for obvious reasons.
And ideally I don't want my web project to depend directly on EF.
Can I move the data access into a separate class library? And if so, how!?
Create a class library projects.
Move the content from corewebproject/data to class library projects.
Add following from nuget:
Entity Framework
AspNetCore.Identity
AspNetCore.Identity.EntityFramework
Microsoft.entityframeworkcore.SqlServer
Microsoft.entityframeworkcore.Tools
Microsoft.entityframeworkcore.Tools.Dotnet
Build class library projects.
Add as reference to your web project.
Change reference in startup contextdb file location.
If you want to change you sql server from localdb change defaultconnection in appsettings.
Add reference related files.
Build solutions.
Go to nuget package manager console and select your project.
Run next commands:
'Remove-Migration'. it will remove some file including snapmodel file
Add-Migrations "Name"
update database
Check you database: you can see upadated db with aspnetcore individual account related tables.
!!! Enjoy !!!!
Sure, check out the Dev branch on https://github.com/MachUpskillingFY17/JabbR-Core we just moved all data into a separate library including identity. Its still quite a work in progress, but it absolutely works.
I am using RSA 8.5
Note: I am using the existing application.xml file and I have already deleted the ibm-application-bnd.xmi, ibm-application-bnd.xml, ibm-application-ext.xml because these files are not in sync with application.xml. Hence I have removed them and only kept the application.xml file and trying to generate new binding files.
I have kept module id as it is in application.xml file. Shall I remove or keep it as it is?
I have tried below steps.
Right clicked on application.xml and opened with Application(1.x) deployment descriptor editor
Clicked on the Security tab and added the role
Then in websphere binding section, I have checked the checkbox for users/groups.
Under the Group section, I have added same role which was added in step 2.
Click on Gather button then popup message saying "No security role defined in Modules.
Please suggest the approach.
If you are using RSA, the highlight your EAR project, right-click select Java EE ... > Generate WebSphere Bindings/Extensions deployment descriptor. This will create fresh ibm-application-ext and ibm-application-bnd files.
I'm trying to integrate Magento 1.7 with a C# application.
When I tried to use the "Add Service Reference" function in Visual Studio, it finds the service and all the operations but when I click OK, it doesn't generate anything. i.e. the Reference.cs file is almost empty (only has one line with namespace).
I tried using wsdl.exe to generate the proxy in command prompt and I got the following error:
R2718: A wsdl:binding in a DESCRIPTION MUST have the same set of wsdl:operations as the wsdl:portType to which it refers.
- Operation 'catalogProductAttributeRemove' on portType 'Mage_Api_Model_Server_Wsi_HandlerPortType' from namespace 'urn:Magento' has no matching binding.
For more details on the WS-I Basic Profile v1.1, see the specification
at http://www.ws-i.org/Profiles/BasicProfile-1.1.html.
Error: Unable to import binding 'Mage_Api_Model_Server_Wsi_HandlerBinding' from namespace 'urn:Magento'.
- The operation 'catalogProductAttributeRemove' on portType 'Mage_Api_Model_Server_Wsi_HandlerPortType' from namespace 'urn:Magento' had the following syntax
error: The operation has no matching binding. Check if the operation, input and output names in the Binding section match with the corresponding names in the PortType section.
I then tried using Soap UI to load the same wsdl and it works fine. The proxy was generated and I can make calls without any problems.
The original wsdl file is here: https://gist.github.com/4514723
except I have replaced line 6297 with an example url.
So my questsion is why was Soap UI able to generate the proxies and making calls without any problems but Visual Studio can't? How can I fix it?
See Generate a Web Service Client in WS-I compliance mode .
You will need to modify your Magento code to correct the WS-I compliant WSDL definition in app\code\core\Mage\Catalog\etc\wsi.xml.
The SOAP UI is probably more tolerant of mistakes in WSDLs compared to other .NET/Java tooling.
I've been tasked when integrating a web form into Oracle CRM on Demand (Siebel) using web services. I've been given the WSDL, and some high level documentation from Oracle.
Well, I knew I was in trouble when I tried to add the WSDL as Web Reference and I was asked to enter an URL. I have the WSDL file in the root of the project, but I have no idea how to link to it.
So, I guess that means I need to learn up on web services using C# and Visual Studio. I have a Safari Books Online account, so I can look up most anything.
It's been a while, but I'm OK at the form part. I just need help connecting and using the web service.
Edit #1: Ok, to clarify my question: I am well aware on how to use web services in general. My specific question is how take this WSDL file and do something with it. If the WSDL was hosted somewhere else, I could just add it as a Web Reference. But, I have the file in the project itself and that is what I am having problems with.
The web reference asks for a URL but you can point it to a local file. Just paste the local file path of your WSDL in and it should work.
Further Clarification of Web Reference URL vs URL to access Web Service
Web Reference URL is used to generate and update wrapper classes for WSDL/Web Service. It is not the URL used at runtime to access Web Service.
URL property on generated wrapper classes is used to access actual web service at runtime.
Update:
It should add a path in the web.config or app.config/settings file (Depending on your project type) similiar to the following:
<setting name="Namespace_WebReferenceName" serializeAs="String">
<value>XXX</value>
</setting>
Which should map to a URL property in the generated web reference wrapper classes. You can modify the URL property programmatically to point wherever you want:
Dim shipService As ShipService = New ShipService() 'Initialize the service - where ShipService is the Generated WebReference Wrapper CLass
shipService.Url = ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings("FedExOnlineURL")
