I know no java or any other language besides c#, so how would I try to make it a popup chrome extension that you can play in your browser.

I'm pretty sure that in Unity, you can build an application as WebGL. You can read this if you want: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/webgl-building.html
Then, you can put the code they give you for the WebGL and put it inside the extensions HTML, and then I think it'll work.

I've just started a project to learn Angular2 and Typescript+Javascript. I come from a Java background and my approach to debugging projects is usually a combination of stack traces, compile errors, and - on larger projects - lots of test cases. However, much of this doesn't seem to directly translate to the world of web-dev; particularly debugging my code that's interacting with Angular2's libraries.
Could anyone suggest any approaches that I can take to debug code working with Angular2? Specifically; how can I see what parts of my HTML/TS is causing issues? I've checked the console, from which I can see that I've broken Angular2, but it doesn't seem much more informative from that.
Just to clarify; I don't want help for this specific instance. I'd like to learn how to diagnose+fix these problems myself.
Assuming you're using Chrome, you can put breakpoints in the "sources" tab in your console. Those breakpoints can be set on the ts files. If you need informations from the js file, you can uncheck Javascript sourcemaps in the console settings: this will allow you to put breakpoints in the js files.
On a breakpoint, you can do the usual (watch, spies, stack trace, etc...). You can also write js in the console accessing local variables directly, for instance:

Specifically in angular 2, you might want to add breakpoints in the "throw e" lines in their library, you'll get more detailed stack traces. If you click on the "..." in their stack traces, you'll get access to your file that caused the error.
That's for actual bugs. Now, for performance, on the "timeline" tab, you can click on the "record" button on the top left. Once you're done recording (click "finish"), you'll see CPU usage. You can zoom on events in the timeline to see which part of the code is using up too much resource.
You can also track memory by checking the "memory" checkbox.
If you need to debug an iframe, there is a select box in console saying "top frame" which you can set to whichever iframe you want.
If I've forgotten anything important, just ask :).
Open web developer console, go to "Sources" section. Press "cntrl+p". A search box will open where type ".ts" and find your file or directly search your file like "myfile.ts". Open it and you can put breakpoints directly in the code, the same way we put breakpoints in a js file and Voila, you can debug Typescript.
I think this doesn't just hold for Angular2, but given you come from a Java background I assume this is more like "how do I successfully debug JavaScript web apps" in general.
Related to this I highly suggest you to take a look at the Chrome Devtools page (given you use Chrome which has very neat devtools build-in).
On that page there are a lot of useful tutorials. Specifically in your case probably the article on Debugging JavaScript which has some cool tipps like conditional debugging, breaking on DOM modifications, even break on caught/uncaught exceptions etc.
I also often suggest people to do the free Code School course on Discover Devtools which is nice as well.
In the case of TypeScript, also make sure that you enable sourcemaps. As you probably know TypeScript isn't directly executed by the browser, but rather it is being "compiled" (or as it's called "transpiled") into JavaScript. That said, you probably don't wanna debug the transpiled JS but rather the TypeScript code you wrote. To enable sourcemaps, set the proper flag in your tsconfig.json:

If you are coming from the Java world, there's a good chance you are already using IntelliJ IDEA from JetBrains. If so, then it is possible to debug JavaScript (and TypeScript) applications directly in the IDE using the same interface you use for Java applications.
JetBrains has some documentation on the subject that might help.
As was said in other answers, you can also use the Chrome Inspector's debugger. Personally, I greatly prefer using IntelliJ to do that instead.

Does Sublime Text support live editing of files?
I'm looking for a better workflow. I really like Sublime Text, but recently I've been spoiled by the "Live Editing" capabilites of tools like Codepen.io and (recently tested) Adobe Brackets. When I go back to Sublime, even Live Reload seems clunky in comparision.

I'm using the LiveReload Chrome plugin, and depending on the project (Ruby or JS) I'll use Guard or Grunt to watch system files. I like LiveReload. But having to press 'save' on a file to see its changes in the browser is driving me nuts. Even with CSS style injection (no full browser reload), I'm flying blind in comparision to Codepen and Brackets which have instant updates as you type.
Other Tools
** GUI Tools **: I've heard of tools like Codekit and Hammer. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but they seem to do exactly what Gaurd and Grunt do—except no command line.
** Chome Tools Spaces **: The ability to edit Sass in the browser is cool. I've set this up, but I rarely use it. Editing HTML/CSS/Sass in Sublime Text is superior to Chrome Tools in every way. And to that point, it is far superior to Adobe Brackets which is why I don't (at this point) considering using it (Also it seems most of Brackets 'cool features' work on vanilla CSS, and not on Sass).
**Live Style: I've tried this, and I just can't get it to work.
I must have Googled "Live editing Sublime", "Live Refresh Codepen Sublime Text", etc.. a thousand times this year and results have been pretty lousy.

This tool creates a little server which interacts in live the the loaded css of the page. All you need is to setup the server and add the javascript snippet to your html code (you will obviously remove it afterwards…).
For now only OSX, live editing is even working on different browsers. Welcome to the awesome!
I got a bookmarklet from Dirpy. When you're on a YouTube video, and you click it, it automatically takes you to the Dirpy website to download the video. Is there a way to make it open in a new window/tab?
I've tried a few very simple things, but I have no idea about JavaScript, so they didn't work.

html2ps is worth a try, although it does not seem to use the css style sheets. This is a serious limitation.
On Debian/Ubuntu, it is provided as a package, so the classical sudo apt-get install html2ps will be fine.

You could write a small script which simply runs firefox using the command line options does a screen-shot, then closes firefox. Should only be about 3 lines of code to get started.

Is there a way to beautify JavaScript and CSS in Firebug?
I'd like to be able to view formatted JavaScript code instead of the compressed version :).
There is now a plugin that intercepts JavaScript downloads and deminifies it at that point.
Unfortunately, the way it hooks into Firefox means that it applies to all JavaScript downloads and just not specific ones and the JavaScript files have to be served with an appropriate MIME type.

CSS is already beautified in Firebug, as clearly seen by comparing the CSS tab or CSS pane with the raw source.
JavaScript, alas, is not. The best you can do, for now, is to paste the code into something like http://jsbeautifier.org/ .
However, if you write a Firebug extension that does this, you will have all of our gratitude. ;-)
Firefox Developer Tools has:
"Prettify Source" button: braces {} icon on bottom left
"Auto Prettify Minified Sources" setting: turns Prettify Source on by default.
To enable it: go to the engine icon on top right of the Debugger tab, not the global settings engine.
