Spring Boot 2 + WebLogic 12c #Endpoint: WSDL testing link not visible in WLS console - spring

After changing the Java implementation from #WebService (javax.jws) to #Endpoint (Spring annotation) I lost testing link visible in Weblogic console inside the war application. But wsdl is available still after deployment. It is only about the link inside the WLS console.
Does anyone know if this is possible to fix to display it back in WLS console or at least maybe if you have experience with this maybe you know what are the dependencies which can lead to displaying that link (?WSDL) ?
regards
E.
Expected solution is to display testing link in Weblogic console back.
I already checked the descriptor (web.xml) if it is compatible with Weblogic 12 (it's ok). Normally with #WebService annotation it works (displayed in WLS console as a WSDL testing link).

Running Spring boot application in IntelliJ gives white label error

I am trying to run Spring boot web application in IntelliJ which gives me whitelabel error. However, I am able to run the application with eclipse and also external tomcat server.
I have the context mapping available where it is returned from the application but webpage always shows WhiteLabel Error 404.
Please suggest how does the same application works in eclipse and external tomcat but not with IntelliJ.
I am using IntelliJ community edition v 2020.2.3
web pages are available in webapp folder.
First download xammp server to your machine. Then run your spring boot application. I used this method to run my spring boot application. But keep in mind that IntelliJ community doesn't directly support to spring-boot. You have to use IntelliJ ultimate for that.

Is there any way we could figure out in code the environment where EAR is deployed?

I am facing an issue in my restlet project where I have to code some operations only if the EAR is deployed in Websphere in a restlet server project. Is there any way we can get information through code to find out where is EAR/WAR deployed? (Is the EAR is deployed in Websphere or Tomcat or other servers).
Try to instantiate some WebSphere API class. If you get a NoClassDefFound, it's probably not running on WebSphere. You might have to do class.forName(Websphere class), so your code will compile outside websphere.
If you only need to check that for example in Servlet/Filter class you can look for servlet context attributes related to WebSphere, for example com.ibm.websphere.servlet.application.name = Default Web Application. You can find some attributes looi=king at the /snoop servlet if you have that installed.
Or, as Bruce suggested try to load some WebSphere class and be prepared for errors when they are not there.

Spring Boot -1.5.3.Release Version - Enabled with Security Features?

I use Spring Boot - 1.5.3.Release Version for my project. Simply tested my demo application with Actuator and Dev-tools plugin from spring boot initializer site. (Hence I no longer needed to share my POM, as it is default). When I launch my application and try to hit the metrics End Point URL, I get this 401 Unauthorized status (image given below).
Following Options Tried to Bypass this exception
I excluded the SecurityAutoConfiguration on my main Class.
#SpringBootApplication
#EnableAutoConfiguration(exclude= {org.springframework.boot.autoconfigure.security.SecurityAutoConfiguration.class})
public class MainConfig {
But the above option didn't work.
When I downgrade my Spring-Boot - 1.4.6.RELEASE Version, I didn't get the UnAuthorized Exception. My Application worked like a charm :-)
Questions
Is there any Specific Security Enhancements have been made in the latest release of Spring-Boot (1.5.3.RELEASE Version)?
If at all any enhancements made, let know the community on how to bypass such kind of exceptions?
I also, noticed that when using Spring-boot (1.5.3.RELEASE) it doesn't show any exceptions on startup, even though I have multiple main program in my IDE build path. Is that also an enhancement is spring-boot (1.5.3.RELEASE) version?
Kindly clarify.
From the Spring Boot 1.5 Release Notes:
If you’re upgrading a Spring Boot 1.4 application that doesn’t have dependency on Spring Security and you wish to retain open access to your sensitive endpoints you’ll need to set management.security.enabled to false.

Error using embedded forms with Camunda Spring Boot

I have my process(bpm file) defined as part of the Camunda Spring Boot project. I have a form attached to a Start Event. When I start my process I get "Form failure: Origin is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin" error.
I have checked Chrome console and found "XMLHttpRequest cannot load app:forms/my-form.html?noCache=1455724524763. Cross origin requests are only supported for protocol schemes: http, data, chrome, chrome-extension, https, chrome-extension-resource" error message.
I had packaged the same process outside a Spring Boot project as a normal web app and deployed the war to Camunda Tomcat. It ran without any issue.
The issue happens when I package the same process as part of Camunda Spring Boot project.
Found 2 links describing similar issue but not helping much in terms of resolution.
https://github.com/plexiti/camunda-grails-plugin/issues/47
https://app.camunda.com/jira/browse/CAM-2146
Does Camunda Spring Boot project support embedded form. I have not seen any example of embedded form for Camunda Spring Boot.
I am pretty much stuck. So any help will be much appreciated.
This happens if the Tasklist can not determine the context path of the application. I just experienced that today in a customer training, when I undeployed a war file from a Wildfly.
A workaround could be to use an absolute path in the formKey, e.g. embedded:/mywebapp/forms/my-form.html
We had this problem as well. My coworker left this comment on the github issues of the project that you might find useful: https://github.com/camunda/camunda-bpm-spring-boot-starter/issues/39

how to deploy Spring boot actuate application in external tomcat server

Im trying to just use the basic endpoints that comes with spring actuate and want to deploy in the external tomcat server without using spring boot. How to achieve this, could anyone help me please. Is there any configuration changes that I need to do. This website gives an idea but it uses older version of spring-boot-actuate. Also EndpointHandlerMapping and EndpointHandlerAdapter doesnt come with newer version of spring boot actuate.
Anyways I get 404 resource not found when deploying to the server.
Check out this question to see if it helps you. The Actuator component is a Spring Boot feature but you can use individual components within an existing application with the right build and configuration setups.
