How to install C++Builder (RAD Studio) documentation - installation

I've clicked a "Help" button in an error message box shown by the C++Builder IDE, and another error message box pops up telling me
RAD Studio's help is not installed. Please reinstall RAD Studio's documentation.
So I seem to have missed checking the checkbox for installing the help when installing C++Builder 11.2. I would like to fix that and install the documentation.
When I invoke the C++Builder installer again, the installer says
A previous version of RAD Studio 11 was found on your system that needs to be uninstalled first.
But the message is not quite correct, it is not a previous version that is installed, but the exact same version: 11.2 is currently installed, and the installer that I execute is for 11.2, and exactly the same installer that I have previously used to install the current version. I've double-checked.
Is uninstalling and reinstalling the only way to get the documentation for the 11.2 version, or is there some way how I can just add the documentation to the existing installation?

Edited:
As Remy Lebeau has pointed out in a comment to this answer, you can open a "feature manager" inside RADStudio by choosing menu item Tools->"Manage Platforms..." which will show you all options from the installer again, and allow to change the options and apply the changes.
I wish I had known this before I actually uninstalled and reinstalled C++Builder with some hassles (described in the original answer).

Windows 7 Visual Studio "windows 8.1 required" on new project

I ran into some time consuming problems.
So basically I've been using VS 2015 for a while on Win7 64bit.
I installed the "Windows 8 Tools" because I tried to debug something for another version of windows. I played a lot to make that work, I think I changed the toolset locations maybe, but I don't know where that is and what the default would be.
The problem is when I uninstalled the Win8 toolsets from my Control Panel, then when I tried to enter one of my project, it said I needed to upgrade to windows 8.1 to load this project.
Even if I try to create a new JavaScript project it tells me I need to upgrade to Windows 8,1.
There is a weird message this is the link: (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/183979885788659713/365283534644183065/unknown.png).
It says "Visual Studio 2013" I don't know why.
I've been googling for hours but I'm not even english and I don't find nothing I think my problem is too specific.
Maybe I miss something but can anyone help please?
Right now I'm desperate.
I uninstall with the cmd "D:\vs_entreprise.exe /uninstall /force" then reinstall, restarted, reset all settings to default in the "export and import settings" but same problem.
Thank you,
rt-2
I uninstalled all the framework I installed when I was trying to install the Win8 tools. Then VS told me that I was missing 4.6.something. I went into the CD and found "M:\packages\sdk_tools46\" and installed it, then I could open VS and create new projects. New projects are targeted for 10.

How to install WinDbg when VS 2015 is already installed?

I'm trying to install WinDbg from this page, just under the Debugging Tools for Windows 10 (WinDbg) section. However, when I download the executable and run it, it tells me that
You must uninstall the Windows Software Development Kit - Windows 10.0.10586.15 before you can install the latest version of the kit.
I'm guessing this probably has to do with the fact that I already have VS 2015 (and the Windows 10 SDK) installed. However, when I go to the Developer Command Prompt and type in
> where windbg
it tells me that it can't find WinDbg. How, then, do I install it without doing anything drastic (like reinstalling Visual Studio)?
I just ran into this same problem (with a slightly newer version of the SDK) when setting up a VM with Windows 10 and Visual Studio 2015. Following the general rule (or at least, what used to be the general rule), I installed Visual Studio first before attempting to install the SDK.
Even though I picked all the options in the Visual Studio install, and I appear to have gotten large portions of the SDK, I didn't get the debugging tools or the application verifier, which I wanted. The "Debuggers" folder was empty. Yet when I tried to download and install the standalone Windows 10 SDK, I got the error message you quote, that I needed to uninstall the SDK before I can install the latest version.
Microsoft's site is absolutely no help. It gives no clues about the appropriate way to install the software. Harry Johnston's comment got me going in the right direction.
After installing Visual Studio 2015, you already have the Windows 10 SDK. You do not need to download it separately. To get the additional tools on Windows 10:
Open Settings → System → "Apps and features".
Scroll down to "Windows Software Development Kit".
(I had two versions of it installed. The top one was newer. I'd recommend that you proceed with the newer version for the following steps.)
Select it, and click "Modify". Then, because it's Windows 10 and everything is harder than it needs to be, click "Modify" again.
The installer will launch. Select the "Change" option, and click "Next".
Place a check next to the additional features/tools you want, click "Change" to start the process.
After waiting some time, it will have downloaded and installed the additional portions of the SDK. You should now be good to go!
(This does seem like a bug in my case. The two versions of the SDK (the one I have installed and the one whose installer I downloaded) are identical (both are for version 10.0.10586.212), so running the standalone installer should just launch the same setup tool that you are able to launch from Settings, enabling me to Change/Remove Features. Oh well, at least this works.)

how to install framework SDK(.NETCore, version=v5)

I recently installed Visual Studio 2015 Community for universal app development, but when ever I create a new project and select the universal app under windows the error pops up saying:
"One or more projects requires a framework SDK(.NETCore v=5.00) that
is either not installed or is included as part of a future update to
visual studio"
In that error box there is a hyperlink mentioned to download the update but it goes right to the Microsoft website's home page.
I read some where to install the .NETCore via nuget package manager console. I have done that it was successful, but again whenever I create a new project it says to install the Framework SDk(.NETCore v5).
I haven't found any solution on this particular error but their were some tutorials to install the .NETCore but they didn't helped me out.
Kindly tell me how to get rid of this, I have wasted almost my 5 days trying to fix this issue.
i actually fixed that issue by First Modifying the setup of vs and their unchecking the Window Universal App development option. it means uninstalling the universal Window App development from visual studio then again modifying the setup i re checked the universal window App development option and update it. that fixed my issue.
You have to install the "Tools and Windows SDK."

Service Pack Setup Error VB6

I am installing an old version of VB6. I had installed a previous version of the software, but uninstalled it. Now I get an error saying 'setup has detected that the service pack version of this system installed is newer that the update you are applying to it'. I searched in the registry for the appropriate keys to modify, however I have not found same. Any help would be appreciated.
Which versions do you have installed of VB6 and of the servicepack?
I suggest you uninstall all VB6 related items, reboot, and then install VB6 again.
After that download servicepack 6 from SP6 from the microsoft site and install that.
If you are still having problems you might try to uninstall all versions of visual studio and install in order of release, so first install VB6 and then install VB.net
I did a reinstall on my machines several times (xp, w7-32b, x7-64b) and never had any problems, but I always installed VB6 first, then its SP6, and then Visual Studio (2005) with its servicepacks, and then checked the windows update to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Problems with installation of VS 2012 (.Net is missing)

I'm having trouble installing Visual Studio 2012. When I run the installer I get the message:
Microsoft .NET Framework required for Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2012 setup
The first time I got this message, I clicked to install. It loaded some stuff but it didn't look like it installed anything. I ran the installer for VS 2012 again and I get the same message but now without any buttons to click on. Is there any solution to this?
What happened before
I had VS 2012 already up and working. I left it alone for quite a while until I decided I wanted to do some programming again. Starting the application resulted suddenly in an error:
Cannot find one or more components. Please reinstall the application.
After searching for a couple of hours I couldn't resolve the problem so I did as it asked and reinstalled VS, but I got the same error again. Then I tried to remove every single application VS installs as indicated by this list and any program that had a similar name. I also removed all .NET versions and C++ redistributables. Now I can't install VS anymore and some games and gadgets are now broken.
And I always, always, always forget the existence of system restore. I doubt my oldest system restore is old enough. This is going to be my last resort.
What I tried
Search for a .NET installation in the control panel, it's not present after clicking the install button on the prompt of the VS 2012 installer.
Reinstall .NET 4.5 using this installer. It installs correctly, but the problem persists.
Turning .NET 3.5.1 off from windows features and install it manually. This fails for an unknown reason (error code -2145124329, which seems undefined). Just turning it off doesn't work either.
