Has anyone tried to automate Reddit website using Cypress 10? When I run my tests with "cy.visit('https://www.reddit.com')", my Test Runner just shows up for a moment with Reddit.com loading on the right hand side and immediately closes and then the Specs list is displayed. I can no longer see the Test Run results with Pass/Fail details nor the console. Any help?
I should add that when I use a lower resolution (that of a mobile device) with Reddit website, it works just fine and I can see my test passes. Does Reddit website when viewed on a web browser have elements that Cypress cannot read or access?

Objects are identifying in google chrome browser in UFT v.14. But script is not running when I keep this for run. After some time of execution, it will be object identification error.
Desperately I need help on this.
There are several reasons which produces object identification issue while using UFT.
Please check below pre-requisites to run your test on Cheome using UFT.
Load Web Add-in while launching UFT
HP Unified function testing agent should be enabled in the browser.
For this- Go to chrome://extensions/ and enable the HP UFT Agent extension .
Close the browser and try again.
I am working on Google Cloud Platform to develop a project in API.AI, I have an integration (in API.AI) with Google Actions (for Google Home or Google Assistant), they provide me to see my progress as real time in web-simulator, that you can find here:
https://developers.google.com/actions/tools/web-simulator
I am trying to START the web-simulator clicking on START button, then I get a window pop-up but after open, it closes, I try and try again but I obtain the same result, I cannot open the web-simulator. I have allowed the popup windows in my browser.
Of course I have completed all steps to start web-simulator...
I don't know what is happening. Someone can help me? Thank you, have a good day.
First, are you using a compatible browser? Try it in Chrome if you're
not already using it, as Chrome is a Google product, and so is the
web simulator.
Next, are you using any Ad-Blockers or
Script-Blockers like NoScript? If so, try disabling them, as they
could interfere with the operation of the tool.
If it still doesn't work, try going to an Incognito Windows by pressing the
three dots button and opening a New Incognito Window. Go to the page, and log
in. This will ensure that no cookies are interfering.
At this point, if you're still having issues, try a different browser.
(Either Firefox or Opera)
I've got a Selenium test which crashes my browser (Firefox) whenever it runs. It's just a simple test (login, logout, login, logout, login ... crash) and I can't reproduce the crash when I do the same things manually, so I think the problem is with Selenium itself.
However, the issue could be that my Firefox starts with different options than when Selenium starts it. I could confirm that's not the case if I could start Firefox the exact same way Selenium starts it (eg. without plug-ins, with all history cleared, etc.) ... but I'm not sure how to do that.
Can anyone tell me which options to use to make Firefox run the same way as when Selenium runs it?
I was never able to find out how to emulate Selenium's use of Firefox. I tried using a fresh Firefox profile, but that still seemed to have differences from how Selenium ran Firefox.
Instead I wound up re-writing my test to be two tests, and then it was able to log in/out twice in the first test and once in the second test, avoiding the issue I was trying to debug (which only manifests when I try to log in/out 3 times in the same test).
If anyone can provide a better explanation of how to emulate Selenium's running of Firefox I'd be happy to accept that answer.
I am currently writting a test which activates an user account by going to an activation url mentioned in an email.
I ran the test on chrome and firefox and it works fine. When I copy pasted the link in IE manually it works fine.
But when I do the same from the test script in IE, it seems like the request is sent twice.
#browser.goto(url)
I can see that a dialog appears saying the account is activated successfully and within a second another dialog appears automatically saying that the activation link has been used already.
How can I fix this problem?
I am using IE11 with Windows8.1.
Latest watirwebdriver, selenium webdrivers and IEdriver are installed.
Thanks a lot in advance.
I have some SeleniumWebdriver/TestNG tests that Im successfully running on FireFox. If I am watching the tests run, it is okay.
But If I start using another browser in the meanwhile, or skype for example, and I go back to the FireFox window that is running the tests, I always find out that some error has occurred - for example, the "User name" input hasnt been filled out.
Why does this happen, and how can I prevent it?
Try to use driver.switchTo().window(driver.getWindowHandle()); when filling out the form.
