Read Aloud EPUB3 Authoring Tools - epub3

I am trying to add the read-aloud feature to my children's books to help the children to read. I have tried many tools, CircularFlo, PubCoder, Kotobee, etc.
The EPUB3 generated with CircularFlo and PubCoder work perfectly with the read-aloud feature on Apple Books but not Google Books. I spoke to CircularFlo tech team online and know that the software doesn't support Google Books yet.
I spent many days looking into different app but have had no luck on that. Does anybody have any authoring tools to recommend?
The read-aloud book should allow to use author's own narration and have the word highlighted when it is being read. For example, please refer to this eBook on Google Play Books.
Any helps or suggestions given is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Cheekian

Are there any alternative to Adobe Community forum?

I want to know best forums in 2D animation industry. I know Adobe forum and Creative Cow as forum and Dribbble as community but I want to get interactive with more communities. Can you please help me discover them?
There are quite a few active subreddits on Reddit. First that comes to mind are r/motiondesign and r/aftereffects.

Documentation about AppScript and ModScript (Serena)

I'm currently working for a bank as an analyst developper. The bank uses SBM from Serena (recently buy back by Micro Focus). The problem is that the scripts are coded in AppScript (VBScript 4.0) and in ModScript (ChaiScript/C++) and I can't find any documentations on the Internet about those two. The only things I found was on the forum of Serena...
Either I look bad, or those languages are not well known.
Maybe someone here got some doc ? Would help me a lot !
I thank you already for the help you will bring me !
PS: Sorry for my english, it's not my native language.
Documentation for Modscript and Appscript can be found online through the Documentation portal for MicroFocus/Serena.
Specifically the Composer help guide covers alot of ground for the scripting languages this is the latest version's guide (11.5) http://help.serena.com/doc_center/sbm/ver11_5/composer/help.html
However, you can switch versions and find plenty of documentation here:
http://help.serena.com/doc_center/doc_center.html#sbm
Additionally there is community dedicated to the Serena-owned products at http://serenacentral.com

QlikView Resources

I want to add Qlikview Development to my skill-set. I have a C# and SQl background. Are there any free online resources to getting me going at developer level not end-user? What's the best starting place for me and the level of difficulty involved.
I am looking for resources that can help me to expert level. One resource I found is the Udemy course and if anyone has done it please share your review of the course content.
You can find good videos on youtube (like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ef_BigFXCis).
When you install qlikview, you have there a qlikview tutorial directory. Follow the pdf file and do everything on that pdf. it is very extensive, but after that you can start developing intermediate solutions. The PDF actually covers the whole QV official course.
After that, go to the qlikview cookbook site and start exploring more possibilities.
Find more blogs on QV and subscribe to them.
QV community is amazing. use it!
Qlikview is relatively easy to "get" at first, but don't be fooled by its simplicity - its a whole platform. I've been developing in QV 7 years now and still learn something new once in a while.
And I have to say it - its a very good choice! QV is amazing and very popular.
There isn't much I couldn't do with it.

Speech to Text in XCODE Example

I've been looking a sample code in the internet on how to create an xcode app that will convert voice/speech to text.
Hopefully guys you could lead me to a link on how to do this, I am a newbie in xcode, would appreciate if the link will be a little bit detailed in explanation or in code.
Thanks Guys and Rest of all stackoverflow community
Technically, this is not the kind of question you are supposed to ask. You should pose a problem and give examples of what you have done so far with the problem, rather than just asking for material.
What you should search for is OpenEars. It's a speech to text library with tutorials on the website. It also does text to speech. However, it has limitations so be sure to read all its documentation and advice first.

Developers' Social Networking

I am new here, and interested in collaboration and social networking sites. I wonder if any of the available social networks falls down under the "Developers' Social Networks" umbrella, if there are any.
And what makes us believe that they are developer's SNs ? How do developers use them?
I would consider github the ultimate social network for developers (... though you can fork me even if you don't know me).
Stackoverflow could be considered a developers social network as well. We unwittingly group ourselves under the tags we answer questions under and ask questions under, and a very visible heirarchy emerges thanks to the the karma system.
Yep... Stackoverflow is a socialnetwork, and Jon Skeet is /root .
What about
OpenSocial
Open Social is Google’s new collection
of application programme interfaces
(APIs). APIs are used to develop
nearly all social network sites. At
OpenSocial you can browse the
application gallery and get started
creating or modifying your own APIs.
SNetBase.com
It provides a forum for professionals
involved in all aspects of programming
and Web development to share ideas,
tips, and resources.
Facebook.com
As a programmer, you can contribute to
the site by submitting idea or code
for an application or widget.

Social Networking for Developers
I think the social networking features of stack overflow are fantastic.
However, while stackoverflow is great for getting answers to highly specific questions, there is still a lot of really useful information on the web in the form of blogs. Often these blog posts are more general in nature and will answer questions you will have needed to ask in the future but will never have to. (a kind of prevention vs cure)
The comments people add to blog posts often add much value. I've noticed some tech/developer blogs with 'post comment using facebook profile' features. This feature is good in that you would be using the same username for every blog that you post a comment to. It also means all of your blog comments all over the web can be aggregrated to a single place (facebook). However, I would be very hestitant in using my facebook profile to post a comment on a public blog because I wouldn't want my tech comments being posted in my friends news feed as they would be completely irrelevant to 95% of my friends (and people might think I'm a total bore!)
Ideally there would be a version of facebook that is purely for developers. It would have a a feature similar to 'facebook connect' and every tech blog would implement this 'facebook connect' feature.
I'm sorry i've gone against the grain of stackoverlow and not actually answered the question that was posted. But the overall problem is highlighted in that I'm not sure where the best place is for this kind of discussion.
My opinions are a bit different. They are not social networking sites but I suggest that a developer should play more on these sites than Orkut, Facebook etc. I don't think there can be one single option for this answer. If you are a die hard developer then you have lots of choices.
Stack Overflow (Obviously)
It has all the features of a social networking site (most importantly, it is almost addictive).
CodePlex
I consider it a platform for developer collaboration. Most important aspect of CodePlex (and Sourceforge) is that they have very little noise.
CodeProject
I love its lounge.
Note: I visit Facebook and Orkut just to see what they are doing technically because they are almost masterpieces of work. I can get a lot of ideas and inspiration from these sites.
