Super Collider Autocompletion Not Working - supercollider

My Super Collider Autocomplete is not auto popping up when I typed at least 3 characters when creating a method. I was able to make the list appear when using the shortcut "Trigger Autocompletion" but it does not pop up automatically like my classmates do. I tried to install different versions of Super Collider but the problem still persists. I use a 2017 MacBook pro with mac OS Big Sur. I’d greatly appreciate it if anyone can help.

Intellij IDEA 2016.2 not responding to mouse clicks on OSX

I cannot work any more with Intellij Idea, under OSX. After performing an IDE upgrade, the IDE main window (and any dialogs) has stopped responding to mouse clicks. The menu still works.
I have tried setting the log level to trace, with no success in getting any information of a possible exception when reacting to a mouse click.
The system is generating some thread dumps (a lot more under 2016.2, I have now downgraded to 2016.1.4). Is there a way to get more information to diagnose this issue?
I had a similar issue. It turned out it was my mouse (Microsoft Sculpt wireless) that was causing the issue. After plugging it out and using the touchpad, it suddenly started working. The issue is not 100% reproducible, though. It sometimes works fine, sometimes doesn't
Upgrading OS X helped once, but then the problem came back. Updating IntelliJ and even reinstalling it with removing all data never helped.
#edit: I borrowed an identical Microsoft Sculpt Desktop set from my friend - it worked fine. I bought another one for myself, and so far it works (it's been 3 months now). Weird indeed.

Win32 App Can't Render Font/Image Properly

I have this win32 application. I created an installer for it and in my computer it works perfectly fine. I can install and run it. However, when someone I know tried installing it, the application ran but with user interface issues. This is how it looked like. I didn't add the white boxes nor the weird lines. Does anyone of you know the reason why this happened? I have no clue at all T_T. Is there a way to prevent this from happening again? By the way, the UI was made using cocos studio. I'm using cocos2d-x for this app.

Trying to install Visual Studio 2015 community edition but install window becomes invisible

This issue is driving me crazy. I'm on a corporately controlled network but have local administrator rights. This issue is happening with all versions of Visual Studio installer where you initiate the install, then you see the initial splash screen and then that vanishes and it looks like nothing is there. But if you click and drag that area you can see the window borders during the drag. Some portions of the invisible window even respond to mouse clicks. There's even a task bar indication that is blank when you hover over it. I can't even update the current 2013 installation to SP5 because even that window behaves the same way.
However, it just totally hangs the install and since I can't see the install options I don't know if there's a failure or it's just waiting on me to do something.
I've seen several posts about this outside of here but all of them lead to a dead-end.
I have installed Studio on this machine before - actually all versions since 2005 and never have seen this issue until it started about 2 months ago. I did updates galore and all that. Updated my video drivers, blah, blah, blah. I've even tried remoting into this this box and seeing if that would alter the display enough to see what is going on...all to no avail.
The box is beefy (i5, 16GB, 500GB SSD...triple display, etc...) so it more than meets the requirements.
When I try to install any version of Visual Studio, the install window briefly appears and then disappears. However, it is still there, just 100% transparent. Has anyone else seen this before?
I was able to finally find an answer to the invisible install dialog question, it is however not an adequate solution, but an answer. I have to run only one monitor then the install dialog is visible and things proceed normally.
My solution was to disable the graphics card I have on my computer and run on onboard graphics card. It seems that the issue is with the graphics, so forcing the system to use the "regular" graphics card did the trick.
I have to use /Full /Passive from the command line to install on a build server. I would prefer less flashy installer for a more robust one. I am sure its a combination of the graphics card etc. But other installers work.

QGIS 2.2 on OSX Mavericks stuck in full screen mode

I toggled into full screen mode on QGIS 2.2 on my Mac, and now the menu bar won't show and I can't toggle out of it. From the documentation, it looks like it should toggle with F11, but it's not working. I've seen people having similar trouble on Ubuntu and Windows 7, but nothing for OSX. Any ideas? I appreciate it.
Just spent close to an hour with this problem- QGIS 2.2 on mavericks. Really vexing! I tried reinstalling (after trashing the previous version as instructed in the install notes), tried removing the hidden .qgis2 folder in the home directory, tried disabling all spaces on the machine (I started with 8 desktops), tried all permutations of Apple-F, ctrl-F, apple-shift-F, etc...
Finally, and simply, the answer was this:
F11 is documented as the toggle key, but in my mostly stock setup this was bound in MissionControl to 'display the desktop'. I rebound that function to F1, and then with QGIS up, hit F11 (on my MBP I need to also hold the fn key otherwise it's 'volume down') and I was out of Full screen mode.
Hope it works for you!

Keyboard layout sticks to french on emacs over ssh

I have a mac, on which I routinely use two keyboard layouts, French and UK english.
Locally I have an installation of Aquamacs I believe, which is running fine. However my work involves connecting to a ssh server running on a Linux x64 architecture, and this is where the problem lies.
When running emacs over ssh with X forwarding, the keyboard layout/input method remains French, no matter what I do. I have tried toggling input method, forcing it to British, I even tried other input methods that seemed to work fine. The French mac keyboard layout is very unpractical for programming, so I would really like to use the regular british layout.
I have tried recompiling the latest version of emacs from scratch, I have also moved my .emacs so that it is not used and removed .emacs.d, to no avail. I have also tried the solution here How to return emacs to qwerty keyboard layout? This just changes U into U+1 in the status bar (I do not know what that means) but has no effect on the layout.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
"I have tried toggling input method" is very vague, since there are many different levels where this can be done.
I suspect the issue is that your X server is using the French layout for some reason and that it does not correctly react to changes in Mac OS X's own layout choice. You might like to check the config of your X server.
