Does anyone know what is happened to the strokescribe website? I use their software and all the technotes were on their website. I have been trying to get on daily but everytime i try it says the server is down. Does any have any notes they can share?
I tried searching the web for more info and have found nothing useful.

I'm currently having a lot of trouble with the google API support team and was wondering if anyone had figured out their process. I'm developing an extension that uses identity.launchWebAuthFlow() to authenticate with google for google drive access. Since July 2017, google has started requiring "Verification" for oauth. As I don't own my extension's domain {random}.extensions.allizom.org, I have no idea how to pass their verification requirements.

They've rejected me once saying my client id is deleted or invalid or does not need verification - I verified that the client exists, is still servicing requests, and still produces the unverified warning screen detailed in the link above.
When I reached out specifically to webstore support, the response said:

The engineers are actively working on the reported problems on this list, so I'm sure that you'll be able to get the information that you're looking for.

Again the major problem here is that I cannot prove ownership of the identity.getRedirectUri() for my extension as the requirements state. I know other addons use google APIs, but I don't know if this verification process is a way to ban firefox developers from the google api ecosystem.
As a bit of question justification, I can find no documentation anywhere from July 18 2017 or later where developers have run into this, and I think this question will provide significant value to any Firefox addon developers who seek to use any of Google's APIs.
Hopefully this is the best place to ask this... We have a Google Mini that now gets stuck on the Enterprise Network service step and won't go past that. Is there anything we can do? We have probably been out of support for around 8 years, and everyone who set it up has left our organization. I found this post about it https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/Google-Search-Appliance-Help/91AhqGXc4HM, but the link at the end doesn't work anymore... Hopefully someone has a solution to that problem, that doesn't involve buying a new Search Appliance...
You cannot directly edit the configuration of the Google Mini unless you can boot it up and get to the configuration services. The hard drives are encrypted.
Since the Mini is a licensed piece of hardware and will have expired by now you won't be able to have Support log in to resolve the issue.
You should look at replacement technology at this point.

I may have bitten off more than I can chew and this is the reason why I'm here!
I'm a beginner/intermediate front end coder and I have a client who has asked me to use Flexpaper to view their PDF catalogues on their website.
I know little about PHP and server side stuff (hell, I barely know front end code) and for the life of me I cant find a step by step instruction on how to upload the viewer and the PDFs on to the website/server.
I've read a couple of answers on the website that give me a glimpse into what I need to do but they seem to fall short of a complete answer.
I tried to using the 'Server Publishing' option in my local machine (using MAMP) but got stuck half way through when permissions where denied. Then found an answer eluding to the possibility of publishing to the web using the 'FlexPaper Desktop Publisher Zine' So I downloaded that and published a PDF and now I have a folder that was created on my machine but I'm a little lost from as to what to do next?
Some specific questions I have:
Do I upload the whole folder to the server and if I do what is the
code I have to include on a web page to access this Flexpaper PDF?
Do I need to upload any other applications/helper files to make the
viewer work on the website?
I have multiple PDFs(approx 15) I need to upload - is using the
'Desktop Publisher' to create each PDF the best way to do this? Or
should I use the 'Server Publishing' solution?
Why have I charged my client so little for so much work!?
Flexpaper seems like a great option for viewing PDFs online but it seems to be lacking in a beginning-to-end process of how to implement it onto websites. Unless I am missing something....

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with hosting MIT's SIMILE Timeline on their own server. I have been trying to do so for a few days now, following the instructions provided via http://api.simile-widgets.org/timeline/2.3.1/timeline-api.js?bundle=true, but have not had any luck. I have downloaded the zip file which contains the files the instructions tell you to reference. I have searched google to the ends but have not found anything that is helpful.
If anyone has any knowledge of working with the SIMILE Timeline, I would greatly appreciate some advice/direction. Everything I have found seems to be pretty dated.

There are plenty of experienced and helpful users in that group. You will need to be clearer about what you're actually having trouble with. For example, are you getting a blank screen, an error message, etc. Are you able to provide a link to your attempt?

7 days ago I faced an issue with Google search.
Whenever my site is searched on Google and any user click on result link than my site was redirecting them to some advertisement site.
I analyzed the code and came to conclusion that dre is a malware code in each php files which redirect users who are coming through search engine.
I cleaned up my website and installed new code and changed all my FTP passwords.
Again after 4-5 days i am facing same issue.
I don't know why this is happening.
Could anyone please help me here?
Did you contact your hosting company to make sure that they are using the latest OS software and firewall?
You could also think about change your hosting company. Does any other domain at your hosting having this issue?
Assuming that you are hosting your site remotely and not using any vpn/firewall, you should NOT be using FTP. See FTP security
