`next.js` api is resolved before promise fullfill?

I want to achieve something like this:
call my website url https://mywebsite/api/something
then my next.js website api will call external api
get external api data
update external api data to mongodb database one by one
then return respose it's status.
Below code is working correctly correctly. data is updating on mongodb but when I request to my api url it respond me very quickly then it updates data in database.
But I want to first update data in database and then respond me
No matter how much time its take.

How can I make the xhr.onloadend act so the Observable returned by this loadImageFile method will throwError?
I believe my issue is that I am already inside new Observable, while it's the main function loadImageFile that should return throwError.
How can I overcome this?

This code takes the input from sender but even if sender has application ID it shows the same message.

File Image size increases while uploading to firebase through expo image picker react native using XMLHttpRequest

I am facing a very strange issue that my Image size increases while uploading to firebase.
I have logged the file size before uploading, it is showing the same size but after uploading the file size gets increased. Also the image is not corrupted. Please help..

I tried using async/await instead of the callback for reading the Gmail
