Can we open a deep-linked page directly post, redirecting the user from a page?
Current scenario: user clicks on the link -> if the app is not installed, taking them to play / app store, and the user installs it. -> user clicks on open, and app gets launched from home.
What we want to achieve: user clicks on the link -> if the app is not installed, taking them to play / app store, and user installs it. -> user clicks on open and app gets redirected to a specific deep-linked page.
Can someone guide if it's feasible and if yes how? Thanks

For some reason I am not able to login in my user, once the password is entered at login the spinning wheels appears and it doesn't go a step further.
Safe boot doesn't help so I went ahead and deleted the .applesetupdone file to create a new admin account.
I am now trying to review and remove the logins items for the main admin account but in Mac OS Ventura I can't find the section to mage the login items for a different account.
The General/Login items only lists the one for current user and the new system settings is making me crazy.
Does anyone know how you can do this? In previous OS it was so easy as you just needed to select the admin account and unlock the padlock
I Just developed my first app with xamarin forms.
Its an app to collect photos and gps and send it to the server.
Every thing is working except User open the app the main page is loaded. Then he navigates to another page and minimize de app when he opens the app again it is not on the page the user navegated to its on the main page.
I don't know where to start . What could I do?
In iOS 8 is it possible to invoke extension menu from a button on website (i.e. using javascript) in safari ?
I am able to invoke the extension menu from a password field in one of my iOS APP. Like in image below.
http://blog.agilebits.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Instapaper-1Password-extension.png
I want to do the same when i open my website in safari. So when user selects 1Password button from website page it should open this menu or share menu with 1Password extension. Not that user go and select share menu then 1Password.
This is not possible in Safari currently. What you are seeing in the Instapaper application is only possible using iOS SDK.
If you write a thin app around your website, this is also possible. You can signal from Javascript to your app that you want the activity used, and when the user finished, signal your website the information with Javascript.
When a user goes to my unlisted marketplace app page and installs my app the authorization popup window just white screens and doesn't close. If I manually close the popup everything moves on like normal. I have a suspicion that it's because my app is unlisted, since I haven't seen the issue with other marketplace apps, but as of right now I can't change that.
Another issue we've had with that page is the Integrate with Google button doesn't seem to respect the current profile the user is using. It always seems to always use the default profile which can be confusing for the user if they wanted to use a different google profile they were currently using.
note: the app url i've posted is used for local development but it happens on our production app as well
I have my application installed on the user's machine(both windows and mac users). Now the user also goes to my web site for certain other things. I want to provide a link in the web site which says "Launch my app". When he clicks on the link, it should launch my application, which has been installed on his system. I was thinking of going the Active X route but it is not recommended + have to use another approach for Mac. The other option was some how get a file association with my application and make it work. Is there any other option ?
You could register your application for special URL schemas, like mygreatapp://open. In the same way that an ftp://... link opens the default FTP app and a mailto://... link opens the default email application, you can register your own app for any custom [myuniqueschemahere]:// schema.
Register your app as a "helper" app for browsers as part of the installer process.
So if you have a link on your website with a URL like "prashant://thisfineapp", clicking on it launches your application.
