I couldn't remember the password of bios and my laptop boots to bios first. There is nothing I can do. Also it doesn't have backdoor password.
How i can reset the password or change boot settings?
Remove the battery from the mainboard and wait like an hour or two. That will reset the bios.

In the settings of uTorrent 3.6 (46682), the option "Prohibit sleep during downloads" is set, but windows 11 still goes to sleep.
I set all the parameters in the UTorrent program.

Hi I want to know is there a way that I can check whether someone booted my PC with a CD/DVD or USB with a live operating system.
Because this way anyone can steal my PC data.
And please guide me how can I protect my data from such theft, One way I know is BIOS password but that password can be reset by removing the battery from motherboard.
first possibility is like you said to put a password in your BIOS.
protect your computer with a lock (or something else) to prevent opening for removing the battery.
if your lock or security system is broken you will be able to know that someone tried or did something.

I want a Windows machine to act as a server, being able to open ports to clients and send data to them over the Internet.
Is it possible to install Windows on any server to act like it or should I purchase Windows Server?
I have never truly worked with servers before so I know my questions is silly. :) Thanks for response.
You can install a normal windows on server computer and can do a lot of things with but if you have specific things to do, maybe you can try windows server and if it what you want, you can buy one ;)

I recall from a while ago, I used a command that enabled me to see what version of SMB (CIFS/SMB1/SMB2) active mounts were using.
For the life of me I can't remember the command nor can I find it anywhere online.
What is the command line command to display active mounts and their negotiated connection method in OS X?
Thank you for your help in advance.
First establish a connection to a shared volume, and then, enter the following command in Terminal:
smbutil statshares -m /path/to/mount
The -m switch means that you will specify the mount point. You can also use the -a switch to specify all.
