Trying to migrate an app to sandbox and receiving this error on first launch. Subsequent launches are successful but nothing is migrated from prior data file locations.
xpchelper reply message validation: sandbox creation failed: 1002
Container object initialization failed: The operation couldn’t be completed. (Cocoa error 13.)
Have tried repairing permissions but no luck so far.
Any info would be great. Thanks.
This is the same bug referenced in other places whereby symlinks in any user directory cause container creation to fail.
I had the same issue after doing the following things:
- Upgraded to 10.9
- Changes the affected account from standard user to
admin.
After reviewing the access rights to user's folder, the read flag for user was not set. I can't imaging that I remove it. But set the read flag solved the issue.

I’m trying to install eventstore on ubuntu 20.04 but everytime I run evenstored --what-if (as root or as simple user, or as sudo) I get the following error message : Couldn't acquire exclusive lock on DB at '/eventstore/db'..
I tried many things :
I tried ensuring that eventstore user and group were owner of the folder.
reinstalling eventstore
rebooting server
stop process with systemctl stop eventstore and starting it back again
I also tried launching service first (as root / sudo or simple user) before using eventstored --what-if.
I can’t figure out why I keep getting this message as if many instance of eventstore where launched at the same time.
EDIT :
Here is my config file (/etc/eventstore/eventstore.conf)
# Paths

It happened to me previously. I was running v20 without supplying the necessary settings like the certificates were missing. The server crashed because of this, but the last message you see is this Couldn't acquire exclusive lock on DB at '/eventstore/db'. You might look close and see if it's a warning, and the real reason for the crash is mentioned earlier in the stack trace of the original error.
Ok so
First of all, comments helped a lot :
this error message is following another one which give more detail about what the problem is.
One thing to know is that eventstored --what-if is supposed to be run while service is not running so user need to stop the service before (systemctl stop eventstore).
I then changed the path to db, index and logs file to match the default value (it prevented me some permissions error).
This used to be working perfectly until a couple of days back exactly 4 days back. When i run gcloud app deploy now it complete the build and then straight after completing the build it hangs on Updating Service
Here is the output:
Updating service [default] (this may take several minutes)...failed.

I tried the following the ways to resolve the error:
I deleted all my previous version and left the running version
I ran gcloud components update still fails.
I create a new project, changed the region from [REGION1] to [REGION2] and deployed and m still getting the same error.
Also ran gcloud app deploy --verbosity=debug, does not give me any different result
I have no clue what is causing this issue and how to solve it please assist.
Google is already aware of this issue and it is currently being investigated.
There is a Public Issue Tracker, you may 'star' and follow so that you can receive any further updates on this. In addition, you may see some workarounds posted that could be performed temporarily if agreed with your preferences.
Currently, there is no ETA yet for the resolution but there will be an update provided as soon as the team progresses on the issue.
I resolved this by adding this into my app.yaml
automatic_scaling:
min_num_instances: 1
max_num_instances: 7
I found the solution here:
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/157449521
And I was also redirected to:
gcloud app deploy - updating service default fails with code 13 Quota for instances limit exceeded, and 401 unathorizeed
I have DB2 11.1 installed on Windows 7. 'db2admin' user account was created to access this. I was able to create, select and perform all necessary actions. Everything was working properly, until one fine morning it started giving me this error while connecting to database.
SQL30082N Security processing failed with reason "19" ("USERID DISABLED or
RESTRICTED"). SQLSTATE=08001
I performed below things:
Reset the password
Verified if the user account is disabled on Windows.
Account is not disbaled
Verified if the account is part of appropriate groups and ensured it has all necessary privileges on Windows
User groups
Deleted the 'db2admin' account and created a new one.
None of them worked and am still unable to figure out the reason for this error.
Is the error misleading? If so, any suggestions to verify logs or anything to figure out the root cause?
Any help in resolving this is highly appreciated
I'm trying to submit a new build to iTunes Connect but I keep getting this error: iTunes Store Operation failed: Error description not available while submitting.
The strange thing is that I already succeeded uploading 3 builds to iTunes Connect. But now I keep getting this error, it has been happening for 4 days now so I guess it's not an issue on Apple's servers.
I tried changing build and version numbers, as wel as re-creating provisioning profiles etc.
Who can help? After 4 days this is kinda frustrating, I need to submit this app.
Thanks for any help!
App submission requires some ports to be open, you can check the requirement document, page 6: https://itunesconnect.apple.com/docs/UsingApplicationLoader.pdf
For the best upload experience, verify that all of the ports and IP addresses are accessible
Xcode Organizer's requirements are the same with Application Loader.
Solved it. The only thing I did different this time was the location where I did it. Turned out you cannot submit apps to Apple on some networks..
Edit:
You have to make sure that ports 443 and 33001 are avalaible.

I am so close to getting my TeamCity setup complete, but am stumped by this error:
(12/22/2011 2:30:15 PM) An error occurred when the request was processed on the remote computer.
An error was encountered when processing 'Web.zip'.
The error code was 0x80070020.
The process cannot access 'C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Deneb\Website\obj\Deploy\Package\Web.zip' because it is being used by another process.
I tried deleting that file myself, and didn't have any problems. I am able to deploy this site from another server, also without any problems. I set the Team City build agent service to run as administrator, and restarted the service.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
Realized that the checkout directory shouldn't be set the same as the web directory
