OpenWRT Luci persistent install - installation

I have a TP-WR710N running OpenWRT.
When I install Luci via putty (CL), everything works as it should. However, after a reboot or unplugging the router - everything is reverted back to the default OpenWRT settings and luci has to be installed again.
Any ideas how to keep luci persistently installed, even after a reboot?
/etc/init.d/uhttpd enable
didn't work either :(
P.s. this goes the same for anything I install. For example: openvpn.

after installing the firmware:
openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr710n-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
I installed:
openwrt-ar71xx-generic-tl-wr710n-v1-squashfs-factory.bin
via Luci and it doesn't delete luci after a reboot or openvpn for that matter.

Unable to start a virtual machine on Virtualbox - Ubuntu 18.04 - infamous problem - no solution works

While trying to use Laravel's Homestead environment, I had to install vagrant and virtualbox.
I already had an older version of Virtualbox.
uninstalled it and installed a new one, then installed Vagrant.
While trying to start my virtual machine I've got a well known issue:
For the past 2 days I've tried EVERYTHING
I've tried
sudo /sbin/vboxconfig
which didn't work, So as suggested in a few posts, I've disabled secure boot from the BIOS.
It still didn't work.
I've tried every type of uninstalling with apt, apt-get and dpkg for everything that includes "virtualbox" in it's package name. Also purged, autoremove and autoclean everything possible.
I've checked the lists and seems like I'm all clean of virtualbox.
But when I'm installing it again directly from the VB website with an installer (version 6.1) it happens again and again.
Funny thing is that no matter how much I clean or purge, whenever I'm installing it again, all my virtual machines are still there. meaning there's still something I'm missing...
Please help. Thanks a LOT!
I've read just about everything about it including:

How to copy intl.so to /usr/lib/php/extensions

I wanted to try Moodle (LMS) on my computer. It requires intl extension.
I used sudo port install php71-intl and successfully installed php71-intl. But it also installed php71 and other dependencies on /opt/local/.
I am using Mac built-in php. Its directories are
/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20160303
/usr/bin/php
I intended to copy the /opt/local/lib/php71/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20160303/intl.so to /usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20160303. But terminal said Operation not permitted.
I tried sudo pecl install intl but failed with make error.
This method sudo port install php71-intl can install the intl.so successfully but in its own direcotry.
So how I can copy the intl.so? Thank you!
You have to disable SIP to do that. First, restart your Mac and before OS starts up, hold down Command-R and keep it held down until you see an Apple icon and a progress bar. Release. This boots you into Recovery. From the Utilities menu, select Terminal and at the prompt type exactly the following and then press Return: csrutil disable
Terminal should display a message that SIP was disabled. From the menu, select Restart. You can re-enable SIP by following the above steps, but using csrutil enable instead.
Find this file "environment.xml" and comment all lines that have "intl" and reload the page. Continue button appears and installation completes without any error. My instance started working like charm, I use it to test out and create courses with SCORM packages, no errors yet.
environment.xml file is located in "admin" folder of moodle directory

Lost control over my MariaDB installation

I installed MariaDB on my mac with Macports but lost control over it, mysteriously. I can list the processes and I can login using a user with no privileges. But if I try to stop the database using the usual macports command (sudo port unload mariadb-10.1-server) I get the following error:
/opt/local/etc/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.mariadb-10.1-server/org.macports.mariadb-10.1-server.plist: Could not find specified service
I've tried installing and uninstalling but this doesn't change. How can I do a fresh install of MariaDB on my mac?
Perhaps you inadvertently installed another version of mariadb-server? You can check with:
port echo active |grep mariadb-
It is also possible that the server was started without using launchd and so can't be stopped with the command you were using. You can check with:
sudo launchctl list |grep macports
'org.macports.mariadb-10.1-server' will be in the list if it is running under launchd.
I've deleted the directory where this installation was and reinstalled from Macports. That solved the problem.

Ubuntu 16 upgrade results incredibly slow wifi

I recently upgraded to Ubuntu16 from 14. Everything went fine, however my wifi connection went to a crawl. I actually experienced this on a previous system that I installed Ubuntu16 on and because of that, stuck with Ubuntu14 for as long as I could until version lag forced me to upgrade.
I came across this solution that was referring to Ubuntu 17
https://askubuntu.com/questions/905288/extremely-slow-connection-after-17-04-update
And it seemed to do the trick!
The only issue is that now after a system suspend or boot-up, I have to run
sudo systemctl restart systemd-resolved
Otherwise I cannot connect to any server.
Its not a huge deal, I've aliased it at this point, but it would be nice get it operating appropriately.
Thanks for the help!
Download this link. If the download by the first link failed, download this file.
Open the Terminal and run these commands on your ubuntu pc.
cd rtlwifi_new-master
make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe -rv rtl8723be
sudo modprobe -v rtl8723be ant_sel=2
sudo ip link set wlp13s0 up
sudo iw dev wlp13s0 scan

Why Rethinkdb don't have binary for windows?

I am interested in Rethinkdb and would like to develop/test on it, but main problem is: it don't have package for windows operating system. I tried to compile from source code, that was also not possible as there was no any instruction.
What makes it so difficult to make executable for windows? Is there any alternative way to install Rethinkdb in windows OS? even very small and not that famous application has windows binary but not Rethinkdb. It is quite surprise for me. Another surprising is there are many community executable for other OS but not windows.
Thank you for understanding and waiting for good answer.
Rethinkdb just announced that it started development for Windows. Please follow

[2] https://twitter.com/segphault/status/590633792781611009
Update:
RethinkDB announced in Windows :
[3] https://rethinkdb.com/docs/install/windows/
Cross-platform development isn't that easy. RethinkDB uses some features under the covers which makes porting it to Windows a difficult job, f.e. a Unix toolchain for the builds and Unix syscalls. For more information on that have a look at this GitHub issue. It states that Windows support is planned, but with low priority.
As a quick fix, you could RethinkDB run in a virtual machine or in Microsoft Azure. For the second one, I wrote a blog post a few weeks ago.
RethinkDB has already started development for Windows. While it's not released yet, this is how you can run it through Vagrant. See: https://github.com/gearz-lab/rethinkdb-vagrant
I'm using Chocolatey, feel free to skip steps if they don't apply.
Installing Chocolatey
Open Powershell as an administrator and run this command:
iex ((new-object net.webclient).DownloadString('https://chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))
... now you should have Chocolatey installed. We're gonna use to install the others.
Installing Vagrant
Run this as an administrator:
choco install vagrant -y
Installing VirtualBox
Vagrant relies on a virtualization application that it calls a "provider". The default one is VirtualBox so let's install it. Run cmd as administrator and run this:
choco install virtualbox -y
Now you should be able to run the vboxmanage command. If it doesn't work, make sure C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox is in your PATH.
Installing Cygwin
We're gonna log on a virtual machine using SSH, so we need a SSH enabled terminal. For that, let's use Cygwin.
choco install cyg-get -y
Installing Cygwin packages
There'are two Cygwin packages we need to install, openssh, because Cygwin doesn't have SSH support by default, and rsync so Vagrant can use it to synchronize files between the host and the guest machines.
On PowerShell, running as an administrator, let's run these commands:
cyg-get openssh
cyg-get rsync
Cloning rethinkdb-vagrant
Open the Cygwin64 Terminal. You should now be in your Cygwin home folder, which should look like C:\tools\cygwin\home\[YOUR_USER].
Make sure you have git installed. If you don't just choco install git -y. Now, clone rethyinkdb-vagrant:
git clone https://github.com/gearz-lab/rethinkdb-vagrant.git
Now you should have a directory like this: C:\tools\cygwin\home\[YOUR_USER]\rethinkdb-vagrant.
Starting Vagrant and useful commands
From inside the Cygwin64 Terminal home directory (described in the last step), type cd rethinkdb-vagrant, now, any Vagrant commands will target cd rethinkdb-vagrant.
To setup and boot the machine: vagrant up (After this, RethinkDB is available, see next step).
To access the machine's terminal: vagrant ssh.
To destroy the machine (every RethinkDB data will be lost): vagrant destroy.
To suspend the machine: vagrant suspend.
To resume a suspended machine: vagrant resume.
Accessing RethinkDB.
Make sure you have vagrant up from the last step. Now:
For accessing the web administration tool: http://localhost:8080.
For accessing RethinkDB from a client app, the port is 28015.
