when trying to install the OneSignal 4.x SDK to the shared project part of my pcs project I get the following error:
OneSignalSDK.Xamarin 4.1.0 with .NETPortable,Version=v4.5,Profile=Profile259.
Package OneSignalSDK.Xamarin 4.1.0 is not compatible with portable45-net45+win8+wp8+wpa81 (.NETPortable,Version=v4.5,Profile=Profile259). Package OneSignalSDK.Xamarin 4.1.0 supports:
monoandroid41 (MonoAndroid,Version=v4.1)
netstandard2.0 (.NETStandard,Version=v2.0)
xamarinios (Xamarin.iOS,Version=v0.0)
I tried almost every other Profile with the same result. I cant get this to install.
The SDK installs fine in the iOS and Android projects. And the former sdk 3.x also installed fine.
Any help on this would be great!
Thanks
Thomas
I am trying to run my code on Android emulator in Appcelerator Titanium but error comes during compilation time.
Error:
Unable to find Android SDK API 28
I am running this code on latest Titanium SDK version 8.0.0.GA
Screenshot:
I have downloaded Android SDK 28 API and created new Android emulator.
Still not fixed. Help.
If you use appc ti setup android in a terminal is the PATH to your Android SDK correct?
I've also found in the past that there can sometimes be updated agreements that must be accepted in either XCode or Android Studio in order to proceed.
If you downgrade your Titanium SDK version to 7.X will it still build fine?
I faced this issue and nothing helped. Install Android 9.0 (API 28) and things will work like a charm.
Using Visual Studio 2017 and Xamarin, I installed the Xamarin Android SDK Manager to replace the default Android SDK Manager, which is now deprecated.
Then I updated JDK to the current x64 version and, using the Xamarin SDK Manager, I installed the most recent version of Android NDK.
I now want to update the locations of these SDK's in the Xamarin Android SDK Manager, Locations tab like so:
Yet, every time I restart the tool, the locations are reset. It also keeps telling me there's 2 components to install, yet when I do, it doesn't complain about any failure.
I have tried running as Admin and cannot seem to figure out what is wrong. Log files seem to be non existent. Is there anyone who has the same problem and found a solution?
This was a bug and has been fixed in 0.1.76.

I have recently updated my Xamarin nuget packages. The update process to the latest version of all packages for Xamarin (core), Xamarin Forms and Xamarin for iOS went really well and everything has updated to the latest version.
Unfortunately most Xamarin.Android.Support.* and Xamarin.GooglePlayServices.* packages are not updating to the latest version because they don't seem compatible with the latest Xamarin version, which does not really make any sense to me.
I have also just detected the following:
Does that mean I have to update my MonoAndroid version? If so, how do I do that please?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
I simply needed to update / install the latest Android SDKs using the Android SDK Manager. After installing API 24 and 25, all nuget packages updated successfully.
I installed the latest Azure SDK 2.0 on my development machine, but can't find the "Upgrade" button to upgrade my current project to the latest SDK. Googling how to upgrade show that previous upgrades had an "upgrade" button when going to the Cloud Project -> Properties -> Application Tab and the upgrade button will be next to the Windows Azure Tools Version: October 2012.
Why wouldn't I see the Upgrade button? If I want to manually upgrade my project, what would the process of doing so be?
The current version of the SDK used is SDK 1.8
It turns out when I opened the Web Platform Installer to install the latest SDK, the item that said "...SDK... - Latest" wasn't the latest, but the February 2013 (1.8.1) update instead of the 2.0 SDK. I ended up uninstalling all Azure SDK's, restarted the machine and tried again.
This solved the issue and I was presented with a new option to install the 2.0 SDK. The trick was to uninstall all (including any PowerShell cmd's) Azure related products I could find in Product and Features (Win 8).
