I have found a bug in https://app.vagrantup.com/generic/boxes/devuan2
But I do not see a place where you can file bug reports for boxes.
Is there a common place to file bugs for all boxes found on https://app.vagrantup.com ? Or do I have to hunt each individual contributor down to file a bug report for that box?
The boxes are created by robots (https://roboxes.org) their GitHub project is https://github.com/lavabit/robox/ you can open an issue on their project.

I'm trying to figure out the root cause of a strange TFS error we are seeing in our current instance. It wasn't noticed until after a server move, but I'm not sure if they're directly related, because the error seems to be showing up for check-ins about a week prior to the move, as well as all those following it.
We first noticed the problem when I tried to get latest, and got several errors indicating:
"The downloaded file is corrupt. Please get the file again."
Upon looking into the error, we have noticed that starting as of a single check-in every code update has resulted in files being replaced with the contents of other files, ranging from project files to binary executable files (presumably assembly DLLs), rather than the expected content which is still present on our local development machines.
I don't have admin access to the servers myself, but am looking for ideas on possible causes and/or fixes for our team to investigate.
After weeks of searching, I finally found another mention of this sort of thing happening, along with a solution that appears to have worked.
Clear the Application Tier cache.

All my project (from the same solution) references are marked with a yellow triangle. The projects are all set to the same .NET version (4.5.1). The error log says:
The project 'CommonLibrary' cannot be referenced.
A way to temporarily fix the issue is to either:
Remove and re-add the references
Right click and choose Add Service Reference and immediatelly cancel.
However, the triangles come back every time I start the solution.
The solution is build successfully regardless or the issue. The real issue is that Resharper acts like the references don't exist.
Another thing that might be relevant is that I have 2 projects that are supposed to be unloaded but they become active every time I load the solution.
Any idea what to do with the issue?
I had similar issues and it usually comes down to the Target Framework (Project>Properties>Application). I was working on a solution using .NET 4.6 and for some reason the default framework for new projects have a different target (in my case it was 4.5.2). So make sure you check all your project at the very least have the same target framework.
Do the following:
In vs choose: tools->options->resharper->options-> general-> click the clear caches button.
then close all your opened tabs and shut down vs2013.
finally, start vs2013 again.
Let me know if that worked for you.
Try switching to managed compatibility mode in VS2013
you can do that by going to tools->options..->General tab and check the Use managed compatibility mode
I had the same thing happen but didn't suspect the 24 warnings I was getting was related to this error: Error 1 Unable to locate the .Net framework aspnet_merge.exe tool on path '~\Photo Archive\Main\etc\tools'. You need to set the msbuild property 'AspnetMergeToolPath' to the folder containing this tool. ODOT.PhotoArchive.Web
Trying to set the MS build property led to a lot of research just to find out WHICH property to set. So, Agent Ransack to the rescue -- searched my drive for the most recent version of the tool and copied it to the directory Visual Studio was complaining about.
Rebuilt the project with the idea of clearing the error but then the 24 warnings also disappeared.
FYI -- this is an MVC project which will replace a classic asp project. This might be peculiar to MVC projects.
At any rate, there was a lot of chasing snipes before this was finally tried. So, where this is happening, try handling any errors no matter how remote the possibility is they're related to the issue.
I had the same problem as you can see in this picture.
Its reason was the hidden folder. I had hidden the folder containing the project files. I got rid of this problem by unchecking the hidden attribute of the root folder containing the project files and restarting the visual studio.
Check it once, you might have checked the folder to be hidden.
We have a sitecore website project in visual studio 2013 that has about 2,800 folders/subfolders.
Whenever we build the project, the IDE freezes up for about 20 seconds after getting the "Build Succeeded" message on the bottom blue bar.
It appears to be related to Web Essentials because when I uninstall it, the problem goes away. Also, we had many more subfolders (5,700 additional). I removed those and the freeze time went down by about 50 seconds. I haven't found another group of folders to remove.
All of the Web Essentials "Compile files on build" options are set to False.
I tried changing various other Web Essential settings to false (including compile on build), nothing fixed it.
I tried changing all settings to the opposite of their default. No effect.
I tried many different options for excluding files via the .jscrc file. (per link)That did not appear to have any affect. (excludeFiles": [" ** "], excludeFiles": ["**/data/*"] (<-- that was for the 5,700 folders), etc.
Given my settings, I would think that Web Essentials shouldn't be doing anything during or after my build, yet it appears to be.
Does anyone know what it might be doing that would be causing this slow down?
Is anyone else with many sub-folders experiencing this?
Thanks,
Gregory
Not really a solution, but I can't comment yet.
I've been having the same issue recently and finally had time to look into it.
I also narrowed the cause to Web Essentials 2013 (2.5.4 currently), went inside the WebEssentials-Settings.json file at the solution level and basically set everything to false where it was true, which fixed the issue.
After trying to find the specific option(s) that caused it, it ended up being the Markdown compile on build option that was the only 'compile on build' still enabled.
Funnily enough, I don't have any Markdown file in the solution...
Anyway if you've already set all compile on build options to false, maybe tinkering with something else in this file could help?
When I am downloading sample projects from various websites.

It seems maybe SDK is not installed or badly installed..
Should have been simple but I guess not.. I downloaded the Prism 2.2 source and the Prism Prism 4.0 Drop 3 source and they both do the same thing. I run the installer and click "Yes" to agree to the terms and then it loads but no files are put on my computer.
Anyone?
I've seen this issue at the Prism forum at codeplex many times, and it is usually related to the fact that there are some policies in your computer that don't allow vbscripts to run (this usually happens if that's your office's policy).
You should treat the .exe as a .zip file from which you can manually unzip content. Related links below:

I hope this helps people who run into this.
